I haven't been here for a while. Because I haven't added anything different. Today I install penguin-command from source.

http://www.linux-games.com/penguin-command/

I was missing some SDL Library Files. Just add them, don't forget the devel parts as well.

Then the normal ./configure commands.

Workout with no problems.

I found a Atari 2600 homebrew game I had to play. But, the Stella in Solus was at version 4.7.3. To be able to play Draconian the Atari 2600 homebrew game. I needed Stella 5.0 or better. The newest stable version of Stella is 5.1. So I download the source, extract it. Before compiling. You need one thing, at least I did. That was a package call sdl2-devel. So get that before running the commands. Which are

./configure

make

sudo make install

This will not rewrite over the older Stella version. To run the newest version of Stella. Just go to the file Stella where you compile this at. And run this command at that location.

./stella

Now enjoy the game Draconian

I try out Freespire in the past and then it became a discontinue distro. Now it's back at 3.0. I just download the .iso which I believe KDE is the default DE. Will try out in a VM. If I like, this might be the one I install on my secondary SSD. Will also try out FrankenWM to be my Window Manager. Let's see how things go.
