Solus has been great for me in 2018. Not yet reach 4.0 still 3.9999999. Not sure I'll see much changes of Solus, before moving over to MX permanently in 2019. Can't wait to move and stay with a Linux distro forever. I'll still checkout other Linux distro's in a VM. Debian has always been my favorite distro and base off of Debian. Today is 10/14/2018 Solus is still strong and stable. No problems since I started using Solus and it's would be a great Linux distro for beginners. When I move to another Linux distro. I stick with their defaults at first. See what works and what don't work for me. I'll replace or tweak all defaults to all my needs and wants. I never bring any of my config files over to a new distro I'm using. I build again from scratch. Mostly because I'll be using different software packages anyway. All my important files and data are always store on my external hard drive. So I have instant access to all my files and data after I mount it to my current Linux distro. Just how I roll and it really doesn't take that much time to do so. Most people thing it as a long progress. And in no time I'm back and running like usual. See you next year, with a new Blog. 79 more days until my change.

Yes, I finally decide which OS I'm going to use as my primary OS in 2019. I finally decided it's going to be MX. Which was my previous OS I was using in 2017. I decided to stop distro hopping. MX is going to my primary OS for now on. Until they stop maintaining it or change their direction, that I might now like. I will continue to test out other Linux distro's in a VM. But, MX is my go to Linux distro.

Still enjoying Solus. So no complaints using this distro. On 01/01/2019 I will created another blog. Might keep this one, just wipe all this out and start fresh with my MX blog in 2019. I'll be more active in the MX community. And will try to created something worth while for Linux users. I'm so advance, that it's time to created things for the public and not just for myself. So I'll get in very details of the MX OS and any contributes to that OS or to the Linux community as a whole.

I been playing with Pekwm for a while. And I might use this Window Manager from time to time. I'm thinking of forking this project, since it isn't current being maintain anymore. So this might be my first project.

This might be my last post not sure. If I have something to add, I will later on. Tune in next year for sure. See you all in 2019.

Half the year is near over. Still enjoying using Solus Budgie. Still I'm looking real hard to my next Linux distro of 2019. I'm really looking hard at Arco which is base on Arch. Looks very trim up and stable. https://arcolinux.info/

Will be downloading this soon and start using it in a VM. Just to test the waters. If I see what I like and they stay true to maintaining this distro. They will be seeing a new user using their product. We see.
